How It Has Never Been Easier To Get Connected

January 13th, 2014

By getting connected, I of course mean connected to the world wide web and connected with each other. The internet is a marvel, it has grown and become a part of everyone’s daily lives in some way or another. You can use it to check when your next bus is, you can email people, you can learn something new or even do your food shopping. It has taken over our lives but for the better as we, the general public, grow more and more intelligent and savvy to new and interesting technologies. You can get connected with several devices and by different means, it doesn’t all come from one place or source.

You can connect to the internet in 3 main ways, you can connect via an Ethernet cable or using wifi, by using a handy internet dongle (like the ones you find on our website) or you can connect via mobile networks. You can only use an Ethernet cable (the wire that hard-wires you to your router) with laptops and desktop computers, more advanced technologies have no need for it as they connect via wifi and using mobile networks. There are several devices that connect to the internet, the most popular being laptops, mobile phones and tablets.

Tablets and mobile phones are a huge market, everyone feels as if they should have one and as mobile phones become larger and tablets get smaller it won’t be long until the two completely merge together. The Samsung galaxy tab is a great example of this, combining a large interface with the usual functions of a telephone. You can also get socially connected with each other as it is almost impossible to avoid having some sort of profile either on Twitter, Facebook or Google Plus.

Social media is king when it comes to connecting online, there are hundreds of ways in which you can interact and talk to each other without even having to lift a finger. Not only can you connect via your mobile phone or tablet, with applications such as BBM, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp, but you can also use your games console to connect with each other. Games consoles now do all the basic things that your phone or tablet can, with Skype and social networks like Facebook and Twitter. You can also connect with each other using your television, with Tivo being the main competitor for social interaction.

With new technologies being created and updated on a daily basis it can get a little hard to keep up with it all. You need to be careful when installing any programs on your phones, tablets, laptops or computers as any one of them can carry viruses that can harm them. When things go wrong it’s up to companies such as Ntsols to make it all right again, so be sure to keep all anti virus/malware programs and such up to date and remember to turn them back on if you decide to turn them off for whatever reason when browsing.
